Cultural Food Festival In Alexandria Offers New Attractions In 2025: See Details
Organizers say the Around the World Cultural Food Festival will expand, offering beer gardens and a kids zone.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — The Around the World Cultural Food Festival announced it will return to Alexandria once again in August. Organizers say this year's festival is "bigger and better than ever."
The festival is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 23 at Oronoco Bay Park, 100 Madison St, Alexandria, VA. According to organizers, it is the DC region's largest outdoor cultural food festival. Attendees can expect global food vendors, cultural performances, vendors and more entertainment. The festival welcomes pets and families with children to attend.
Central to the event are the ethnic food vendors representing 25 or more countries. There will also be global dessert options. There will also be traditional dance performances representing 19 countries and DJ sets between performances. Rounding out the event will be 100 or more cultural vendors, two new beer gardens and a new kids zone with moon bounces.

The event will be held rain or shine. Visitors are encouraged to walk, bike or take the Metro, King Street Trolley and buses to the event. More information on parking in Old Town is available on the city's website.
