Armed Robbery Reported Sunday Night in Alexandria: Police
Three suspects were involved in a robbery, with one brandishing a gun, Sunday night in Alexandria, police said.
ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The Alexandria Police Department is investigating an armed robbery Sunday night in the 1200 block of Madison Street (see map below), near the Braddock Street Metro. Police say that three suspects brandished a firearm and stole a phone during a phone sale arranged through an online application. No one was injured, according to police. Police sent out an alert about the armed robbery shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday. Expect activity in the area as police investigate.
