Beyer Faces 3 Challengers In 8th Congressional District General Election
Congressional races are on the ballot in November, and there are four candidates running in Virginia's 8th Congressional District.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — As Rep. Don Beyer, a Democrat, seeks a sixth term in Virginia's 8th Congressional District, he faces three challengers in the Nov. 5 general election.

Virginia's 8th Congressional District covers Arlington County, the Cities of Alexandria and Falls Church, and portions of Fairfax County. The district is labeled as strong Democratic by the Virginia Public Access Project.
Beyer, 74, was first elected to the 8th Congressional District seat in 2014, replacing retiring Democratic Rep. Jim Moran. Beyer, an Alexandria resident, is a former owner of his family's car dealership before selling his shares in the business in 2019.
