Bus Service Connecting Alexandria to National Harbor Starts Sunday
The new bus service will run from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- A new bus service will start Sunday between the King Street and Huntingon metros and National Harbor, just across the Potomac from Alexandria. The bus will also make stops in Alexandria in the Carylyle neighborhood, at Dulaney Street and at the Eisenhower metro stop, at Duke and Mill Road and Eisenhower Avenue.
The new Metrobus service, NH2, will offer rides to downtown National Harbor, the MGM resort as well as the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center. MGM National Harbor, opening in December, is expected to bring thousands of new jobs to the area.
Buses will run every 30 minutes from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m. If you're leaving from the King Street Metro Station, you'll board the bus in Bus Bay A; from Huntington, you'll board the bus in Bus Bay C.
