Child Abuse Awareness Training Sessions Available

There are two free training sessions hosted by the Center for Alexandria's Children.

The Center for Alexandria’s Children is offering an educational program to Alexandria families as part of National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

The center is hosting sessions on Darkness to Light’s Stewards of Children, which trains parents and caregivers in the ways to better prevent, recognize and respond to child sexual abuse.

The center, located at 1900 N. Beauregard St., Suite 200 in Alexandria, will host two free training sessions from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, April 19 and on Tuesday, April 30.

The center will provide on-site childcare for trainees as well as pizza for the kids.
