Grammy-Winning Group Will Be First to Perform at MGM National Harbor

The first group to perform at MGM National Harbor was announced Monday and it will be four-time Grammy Award-winning R&B vocal group Boyz II Men, performing at The Theater Thursday, Dec. 15 at 8 p.m. The trio, featuring baritone Nathan Morris alongside tenors Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman, will be the first performers to take the stage at the new entertainment venue. The $1.4 billion resort and casino will open Thursday, Dec. 8.

Others slated to perform at MGM National Harbor include Cher, Lionel Ritchie and comedian Jim Gaffigan.

MGM National Harbor, located on the shore of the Potomac River just across from Alexandria in Maryland, will offer luxury accommodations, more than a dozen dining options and is lining up entertainment in The Theater, which can accommodate 3,000 guests for reserved-seating events and more than 4,000 for general admission shows.

Tickets for Boyz II Men will range from $39.50 to $85, including applicable service charges, and go on sale Friday, Nov. 4 at 10 a.m. Tickets can be purchased online at mgmnationalharbor.com or ticketmaster.com. Formed in 1990, Boyz II Men has sold more than 64 million albums worldwide. The trio, who recently celebrated 25 years as a group, will perform their biggest hits including "Motownphilly," "I'll Make Love To You," "It's So Hard to Say Goodbye to Yesterday" and "End of the Road" mixed with Motown classics as well as selections from their newest album, Collide.
