Hank's Pasta Bar To Return To Alexandria On National Pasta Day

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Hank's Pasta Bar will make a fitting return to Alexandria on National Pasta Day Friday.

The restaurant will operate as a takeout and delivery concept only. at 600 Montgomery Street, which is colocated with Hank's Oyster Bar. It will serve signature dishes from the original Hank's Pasta Bar menu as well as build-your-own food, Caesar salad and seasonal desserts. Some menu items include Linguine with Pistachio Pesto and Shrimp, Mafalde with Fennel Sausage, and six pasta varieties for build-your-own pasta bowls with nine sauce options, proteins, vegetables and toppings.

Hank's Pasta Bar, which rebranded in 2020 as Hank & Mitzi's closed in 2021 and never reopened.

"This is about bringing back everything people loved about Hank's Pasta Bar, but in the comfort of your own home," said Chef Jamie Leeds of the Jamie Leeds Restaurant Group. "We're making it easier than ever to get inexpensive, nourishing food without giving up quality or time."

For National Pasta Day from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, all orders will come with free linguine and marinara.

Meals are made with sustainable ingredients, including imported pasta from the Mancini family's wheat fields in Le Marche, Italy. Eco-friendly packaging is used for the takeout and delivery service.

Hank's Pasta Bar will partner with Real Food for Kids, a nonprofit focused on school food and promoting nutrition equity. Customers can round up their orders to support the group's advocacy and programs like Chefs Feeding Families.
