The museum showcases a range of herbal botanicals, blown glass and a collection of archival materials — including a note from the original first lady, Martha Washington, who requested three quarts of Castor oil.
The museum also is hosting a "Wonders of Science" program Feb. 2 and March 16 and a "Mad Science" program April 28 that helps Girl Scouts achieve their Home Scientist badge.
