Man Evading FBI Jumps To Death Off 15th Story Balcony: Officials

Reports indicate the death investigation in Alexandria on Friday was tied to an FBI attempted arrest.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — A man facing an FBI arrest Friday morning jumped to his death in Alexandria, according to reports.

The FBI's Washington Field office said it was executing an arrest warrant around 6 a.m. Friday at the 4300 block of King Street, which WUSA9 reported is the Alexander Apartments. According to the FBI, the man jumped from a 15th story balcony. Despite life-saving attempts, the man was pronounced dead.

The man's identity and charges were not disclosed by the FBI. The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.
