Man Found Dead, Another Stabbed In Alexandria: Police
Alexandria Police are investigating a stabbing that injured one person and shooting that killed another.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — One person was stabbed and another was fatally shot Sunday in the West End of Alexandria, according to police.
Around 5:55 p.m. Sunday, Alexandria Police responded to the 6000 block of Edsall Road for a stabbing report. Officers found a man with lacerations, and he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Another man was found dead inside the building. Police initially believed he was stabbed, but an investigation found he had a fatal gunshot wound. The medical examiner will confirm the cause and manner of death.

The fatal victim was identified as Daniel Foster, 42, of Alexandria.
Police say they have all involved parties accounted for, and the investigation remains active.
