Southern Restaurant Opens New Alexandria Location In Midst Of Expansion
Thompson Restaurants has replaced Hen Quarter with a new restaurant specializing in brunch and other Southern fare.

ALEXANDRIA, VA — Milk & Honey, a favorite for brunch and other Southern cuisine, has opened along King Street in Old Town Alexandria, Thompson Restaurants announced. The restaurant replaces Hen Quarter under the same restaurant group.
"After nine years serving the community at Hen Quarter, we are thrilled to welcome Milk & Honey to this iconic space," said Alex Berentzen, chief operating officer of Thompson Restaurants. The new Milk & Honey location at 801 King Street serves the brand's signature Southern-focused menu. Some favorite menu items are Pan-Seared Salmon and Grits, Carolina Low Country Gumbo, Deviled Eggs, Jerk Lamb Chops, Chicken and Biscoff Waffles and Cheesecake Pancakes. Along with brunch and dinner favorites, diners can feast on a variety of Southern-style soups, salads, appetizers, main courses, sandwiches, sides, desserts and cocktails.
