Power Restored to More Than 200 Homes Thursday in Alexandria

More than 200 Dominion Power customers were without power Thursday afternoon in Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA --Power was restored to more than 200 homes Thursday in West End Alexandria, according to Dominion Power. Temperatures were in the 30s in Alexandria with blustery winds.

The utility's outage map showed 206 homes without power in an area near N. Jordan Street and Taney Avenue.

A Dominion crew was assessing the damage in the afternoon and estimated power to be back on sometime between 4-9 p.m. Thursday, according to Dominion Power. No word on what caused the outage.
