City Receives Unsolicited Proposal to Construct Colossal Sports Complex – A park on Eisenhower Avenue could become a major sports complex—or, at least, a private company wants to build one there.

Vaso's Kitchen Preparing New King Street Location -- The owner of Vaso’s Kitchen is preparing a second location at the former Bistrot Lafayette space on King Street, and it could open as early as July. 

Sur La Table Plans August Opening for King Street Store -- Sur La Table will open its new King Street location at 326 King Street in late August. The space formerly housed a CVS, which moved up the street to a larger space at 503 King St. in 2012. That spot was vacated by Books-a-Million.

Extended-Stay Hotel Coming to King Street – In other business news, a former hotel will be returning to its original roots.
