Power Restored to 2,000 Homes Sunday Night in Alexandria
Eight homes in Alexandria were still without power late Sunday night, with temperatures in the teens.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- (UPDATE 11:40 PM): Power has been restored Sunday night to most of the nearly 2,000 homes that lost power in Alexandria during frigid weather. As of 11:40 p.m., eight homes in the City were still without power; the temperature at that hour was 19 degrees in Alexandria. Dominion estimated power would be back on no later than Monday at 2 a.m. The cause of the outage was listed by Dominion as "Equipment Problem."
