ALEXANDRIA, VA -- New bus service, Metrobus NH2, will begin connecting Alexandria and National Harbor on Sunday. Buses will run every 30 minutes from 6 a.m. to 1 a.m.
The NH2 service is provided by National Harbor, Metro and the Maryland Department of Transportation (MDOT) through a unique private/public partnership. The City of Alexandria is also helping fund the nine-month pilot program for the service, kicking in $478,426.
The much-heralded MGM National Harbor casino resort opens in December at National Harbor.
