Parade Mile Race Canceled
George Washington Birthday Celebration organizers cancel mile race that usually takes place just prior to Monday's parade.
The organizers of the George Washington Birthday Celebration have canceled the Parade Mile Race.
The one mile race historically occurs just prior to the start of the parade, which begins at 1 p.m.
Race organizers said there were too few registrants to hold the race.
