Pedestrian Hit by Car, Suffers Serious Injuries Saturday Night in Alexandria: Police

Another Alexandria resident died last month after being struck by a car.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- A pedestrian was struck by a vehicle and sent to the hospital overnight with serious injuries in Alexandria, according to the Alexandria Police Department.

Police are investigating the crash, which occurred late Saturday night at N. Beauregard Street and Rayburn Avenue (see map below) in the City's West end. The pedestrian was transported to a hospital with serious injuries, according to police. Police sent out an alert about the crash at 11:37 p.m. Saturday. No other details were made available.

A 90-year old pedestrian died last month in Alexandria after getting hit by a car.
