Police Investigating 'Sudden Death' Sunday in Alexandria
Police in Alexandria are investigating a "sudden death" Sunday morning in a neighborhood off of Duke Street.
ALEXANDRIA, VA -- The Alexandria Police Department said Sunday morning they are conducting an investigation of a "sudden death" on N. Floyd Street (see map below). Police said there is no danger to the public, but to expect police activity in the area. The area is just off of Duke Street in the City's West End. No other details were given by police about the circumstances surrounding the death. Police sent out an alert about the investigation shortly before 8 a.m. Sunday.
