School Supply Distribution Event To Provide 2,000 Filled Backpacks In Alexandria
A third annual school supply distribution providing 2,000 filled backpacks in Alexandria is set for early August.
ALEXANDRIA, VA — For the third year, a law firm in Alexandria will host its third school supply distribution with 2,000 filled backpacks provided to students in need.
Blaszkow Legal, PLLC, which serves Northern Virginia as a personal injury law firm, will host the Project Backpack distribution event on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at its offices, 5270 Shawnee Road, Alexandria, VA. About 2,000 backpacks filled with essential school supplies will be distributed to elementary school students in Northern Virginia.
"We would not be where we are without our community. Events like these let us take the edge off of a family's expenditures," said Joseph Blaszkow, founder and managing attorney of Blaszkow Legal, PLLC. "While buying a new backpack and getting some school supplies may not break the bank, it is one more purchase that a family has to worry about. Our goal is to give families a little peace of mind, and get the year started off with a bang."
