Five Suspects Apprehended After Street Robbery Thursday in Alexandria

A group of suspects stole a victim's phone, according to police.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Five robbery suspects associated with stealing a phone in a street robbery Thursday were apprehended, according to the Alexandria Police Department.

The Alexandria Police Department was investigating the robbery in the 400 block of N. Armistead Street (see map below).

A group of suspects stole the victim's phone, according to police. There were no weapons and no injuries.

There are have been 10 street robberies in the City in the past month, including one in the same location, 400 block of N. Armistead on March 4. Of the 10 street robberies, seven of them have been in the West End of the City, and of those, five of them west of I-395, according to records on Raids Online.
