Miekiah is an overachiever, has been since she was in the 7th grade. She is a member of AVID and a member and mentor for EIP Early Identification Program with George Mason University, GPA 4.0, vice president of the Black Student Union (BSU), volleyball manager with Alexandria City High school.
What's one thing you want everyone to know about your graduating student nominee?
Miekiah is well deserved of any honor she will and has received, my daughter has a speech issue which she has overcome many obstacles with her speech issue and it has pushed her beyond the skies, the sky is not the limit if you just believe in greater!
