The Great Rum Punch Challenge Is On!

The rum punch challenge is on!

Gadsby’s Tavern is hosting the 8^th annual Great Rum Punch Challenge April 6 from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Local restaurants and distilleries will vie to take home the title from Bittersweet Catering & Cafe, a three-time winner.

Proceeds from the event will fund the museum’s educational and preservation efforts.

The city’s town crier will announce the winner at the end of the evening.

Participants include Dogfish Head, Bacardi, Bittersweet, Fireflies of Del Ray and first-time challengers Cutters of Barbados and Trademark.

Beverages will also be provided for designated drivers.

Tickets, which include admission covering food and drink for the evening, are $50 per person or $100 (which includes both admission and a pre-event tasting of Barcardi rums).
