Duke Street Reopens to Traffic After Fire in Alexandria Temporarily Closes Road Monday Morning

Response to nearby fire at service station temporarily closed Duke Street in both directions Monday morning in Alexandria.

ALEXANDRIA, VA -- Duke Street reopened late Monday morning after a fire shut down the street in both directions. The City reported just before 9 a.m. that Duke Street was temporarily closed in both directions due to response to a fire nearby. The area is near the Foxchase shopping center, in the 4600 block of Duke Street, according to the City.
