Virginia Weekend Weather: Breezy, Sunny, Fall-Like

Keep a light jacket handy. Forecasters predict brisk weather for the weekend with wind gusts but lots of sunshine.

The weather in Northern Virginia this weekend is expected to be sunny and brisk, with highs in the low to mid-60s and winds around 5-10 MPH, according to the National Weather Service. The sunny weather is expected to stick around through Election Day on Tuesday.

  • Friday: Sunny. Highs in the mid 60s. North winds 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph.
  • Friday night: Clear. Lows in the lower 40s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
  • Saturday: Sunny. Highs in the lower 60s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
  • Saturday night: Mostly clear. Lows in the mid 40s. West winds around 5 mph.
  • Sunday: Sunny. Highs in the mid 60s. Northwest winds 5 to 10 mph.
  • Sunday night: Clear. Lows in the lower 40s.
