2.4M Watch Selena Gomez’s Reston Fiancé Get Eyebrows Plucked On TikTok

RESTON, VA — Reston native Benny Blanco made a big splash on TikTok by posting a video on Sunday that showed the music producer getting his eyebrows plucked.

Featuring a brief cameo by Blanco’s fiancée, actress and singer Selena Gomez, the video garnered 2.4 million views, as of Monday morning. It also received about 28,800 comments and 96,400 shares.

While the music producer didn’t see any real difference, the procedure did seem to prevent a potential unibrow from forming, according to the video.

Gomez, 32, has had a working relationship with the now 37-year-old Blanco since 2015, when he produced her songs "Same Old Love" and Kill 'Em With Kindness," Elle reported.

Although Gomez and Blanco had been dating since June 2023, they didn’t go public about their relationship until December 2023. The duo announced their engagement one year later, according to People.

Born Benjamin Joseph Levin in Reston in 1988, Blanco began producing hip hop instrumentals with his accompanying vocals in his bedroom. He took his stage name from the movie "Carlito's Way," according to a 2013 article in The Washington Post.
