Makers Union Reston Celebrates Holidays With Cocktails, Special Events

RESTON, VA — Just like Santa Claus making a list and checking it twice, Makers Union has made plans for the holidays that Reston diners will want to check out.

Through Dec. 31, guests can toast the season at Makers Union's Blitzen Bar, which offers a variety of epic holiday cocktails, including:

• Big Nick Energy ($16) - Sky Blood Orange, lime juice, strawberry puree, San Pellegrino Aranciata blood orange soda, Q Mixers ginger beer
• How The Grinch Stole Makers Union ($15) - Wheatley vodka, melon liqueur, blue curaçao, orange juice, apple puree, Sprite, cranberries, shimmer dust, tableside Grand Marnier float
• Old Man Marley's Old Fashioned ($22) - Hand-selected private select bourbon, black cherry syrup, orange bitters, Luxardo cherry, orange peel, applewood smoke

Families can also enjoy Brunch with Santa from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., on Dec. 20, at the Reston Makers Union, which offers their regular family-style or unlimited brunch menu.

Makers Union in Reston has also planned New Year's Eve and New Year's Day Celebrations:

• New Year's Eve Prix Fixe Menu - $55 per person, three courses
• New Year's Eve Decades Party - DJ spinning through the decades from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. with a champagne toast at midnight
• New Year's Day Pajama Palooza Brunch - Wear your finest (or comfiest) pjs and enjoy family-style or unlimited brunch, plenty of bubbly, and live music from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Jan. 1, 2026.

Markers Union Reston, which is located at 1811 Library St., has pet-friendly patios with happy hour offerings Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. Check out live music every Friday and Saturday, from 8 to 11 p.m.
