2 Reston Area Homes Ransacked: Police
Police say a burglar or burglars struck two different homes in the area.
VIENNA, VA -- Police are investigating after burglaries were reported at two different homes in the Reston District Station area.
The first happened in the 9700 block of Middleton Ridge Road in Vienna on Jan. 18 between 8:30 a.m. and 11:20 p.m., according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
"Someone broke in and ransacked the house," the report states. "Cash and other items were reported missing."

On Jan. 20 at around 4:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Victoria Farms Lane in Vienna, "[s]omeone broke in and ransacked the house but nothing was taken," the report adds."
