RESTON, VA — Customers at 114 Wegmans Food Markets raised nearly $3.1 million for hunger relief as part of the fall 2025 Check Out Hunger scanning campaign, according to a company release.

From Oct. 22 to Nov. 29, customers at Wegmans' 114 stores, including the one at 11950 Hopper St. in Reston, were able to donate any amount at the checkout with 100 percent of the proceeds going to each store's local Feeding America food bank partner.
