Bomb Threat In Reston Leads To Evacuation: Police

Authorities investigated the scene after a reported bomb threat in Reston.

RESTON, VA -- The Kaiser Permanente building in Reston was evacuated Thursday morning after a reported bomb threat, but an investigation turned up nothing.

Police responded to the scene of 1890 Metro Center Drive after a note was discovered that indicated a bomb threat, prompting police to evacuate the building as a precaution, Fairfax County Police tweeted at 9:29 a.m.

Police tweeted at 11:18 a.m. that officers had completed their investigation and nothing suspicious was found.
