Dogs Attack Woman Near Reston: Police
Three pitbulls attacked and bit a woman just outside of Reston on Hunter Mill Road, police say.

OAKTON, VA -- Police have charged a woman after they say her three pitbulls attacked and bit a woman on Hunter Mill Road just outside of Reston last Friday.
The victim was driving her car in the area of Hunter mill Road and Mystic Meadow Way on March 22 at 4:34 p.m., and saw three pitbull mix dogs standing in the road, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
"She stepped out of her car and two of the dogs attacked her," the report states. "The dogs bit her leg and arm, causing puncture wounds."

Police say 51-year-old Shanin Quashie, the dogs' owner, left them in the backyard unattended and they escaped through an open gate.
Quashie got in her car and retrieved the dogs, the report adds.

Quashie was charged with three unrestricted dog violations. The dogs were impounded.
