Downed Wires Close Major Road Near Reston: Police
Hunter Mill Road has been closed since Tuesday due to downed wires, police say.

WOLF TRAP, VA — Crews were still working to reopen Hunter Mill Road just outside of Reston Wednesday morning a day after downed wires shut it down.
Fairfax County Police tweeted at 4:27 p.m. Tuesday that Hunter Mill Road between Mt. Sunapee Road and Hunting Crest Lane will be closed for an "extended period" as crews repair downed wires.
They did not indicate the cause, but the photo they shared shows a large truck on its side.

Police tweeted at 6:38 a.m. Wednesday that Hunter Mill Road remained closed and drivers should use an alternate route.
