Fairfax County Schools Make Weather Decision For Monday
Fairfax County Public Schools have made a decision about Monday classes due to the incoming winter storm.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — Fairfax County Public School students will have an additional day added to their winter break on Monday.
FCPS has decided to close all schools and central offices on Monday due to the incoming winter storm.
The following activities in schools and on school grounds are canceled:

- extracurricular activities
- interscholastic contests
- team practices
- field trips
- middle school after-school programs
- professional learning and training courses
- recreation programs and community use by outside groups not affiliated with FCPS
- Adult and Community Education (ACE) classes.
- Adult High School and GED
- School Age Child Care (SACC) centers are closed
"Homebound and home-based instruction are canceled. Employees designated as essential personnel shall follow supervisor direction," according to FCPS. "Emergency administrative leave is authorized for all other personnel."
