Reston Association Board of Directors:

We are disappointed that your Land Use Advisory Committee would give an audience to developers of one of Reston's golf courses. We understand that one of that committee's purposes is to hear developers' plans and ideas. However, plans that so greatly go against RA's Land Use Resolution 6, Golf Course Policy dated 12/15/2016 have not been given an audience since RA allowed Wheelock to present at an RA board meeting in 2018. They gave Rescue Reston equal time, and concluded afterwards that this would not be appropriate in the future.

The March 11 agenda of the Land Use Committee goes against Land Use Resolution 6 and against the stated platforms of many of you who ran for election in 2023.

How did the LUAC specifically decide to hear this developers presentation over that of the several other SSPA's on the table for Reston?

The next step in the SSPA process will include a public meeting on the RNGC proposals. We look forward to that meeting.
