Missing Reston Teen Found Safe: Fairfax County Police
Fairfax County Police said Thursday that the teen had been located and will be reunited with his family.
RESTON, VA — A teen reported missing early Thursday morning has been located and is safe, according to an update late Thursday afternoon from Fairfax County Police.
"Officers located Elliott Byrum a short time ago. He is in good health and will be reunited with his family shortly," according to a message shared by police on social media. "Thanks to all concerned."
The teen had last been seen in front of the North Point Giant grocery store in Reston at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday.
