Mullenix, Lanza Running For At-Large, North Point Seats On RA Board
Michael Lanza and Matthew Mullenix are the two candidates running in the upcoming Reston Association Board of Directors' election.

RESTON, VA – Two Reston Association members have announced their candidacy in the upcoming Reston Association Board of Directors’ election in 2025. The month-long election will be held in March.
All candidate applications have been certified by the RA Elections Committee. Candidates include:

At-Large Director (3-year term):
• Matthew Mullenix
North Point District Representative (3-year term)
• Michael Lanza
Candidate profiles and statements are available online at the RA Board of Directors Election page. RA members (owners and renters) may learn more about the candidates at a Candidate Forum, which will be held Tuesday, February 26 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at RA Headquarters (12001 Sunrise Valley Drive, Reston) or livestreamed on YouTube. Members may submit questions for the candidates prior to the event.

All Reston Association members in good standing are eligible to vote in the Board of Directors election, which will run from February 28-March 31, 2025. Members may cast their votes online or via mail-in ballot. A 10-percent quorum is required to validate election results.
The Reston Association Board of Directors oversees the association’s overall goals and policy matters, including setting the biennial budget which determines the annual assessment fee for members.
