The Reston Planning and Zoning Committee is currently seeking dedicated volunteers to join its team.
The Reston Planning and Zoning (P&Z) Committee is currently seeking dedicated volunteers to join our team. If you are a resident of Reston, Virginia, and over eighteen years of age, you are eligible to apply.
Committee Structure:

- The Committee comprises up to fifteen (15) members, with five (5) positions expiring each year.
- Additionally, we have up to three (3) associate members who serve one-year terms.
- Regular members serve three-year terms starting in January, while associate members serve
- one-year terms, also beginning in January.
Meeting Schedule:
- Meetings are held virtually on the third Monday of each month at 7:30 p.m.

Interested candidates should complete the online application at Reston Planning and Zoning and submit it along with a bio/resume as per the instructions provided.
The application deadline is Friday, January 17th, 2025 at 5PM.
