RESTON, VA — Students from Reston's Ideaventions Academy for Mathematics and Science placed first recently at the AUVSI XPONENTIAL's 2024 Conference in San Diego, California.

Ideaventions Academy's "Daedalus" team competed in mini game challenges and public demonstrations. They also received their award for winning Bell's 2023 AVR National Championship last December in Dallas, Texas.

Attending XPONENTIAL's 2024 Conference — billed as the "world’s premier event for uncrewed systems and autonomy" gave Daedalus team members a chance to meet with leaders in the drone and autonomy industry.
