Reston Zoning Decision Deferred Until Mid-February
The move comes after hours of testimony lasting well into the evening on Wednesday.

RESTON, VA -- A controversial decision on whether to raise the zoning limit in the Reston Planned Residential Community district has been delayed until mid-February, according to a report.
Reston Now reports that "dozens" of residents were on hand at the Fairfax County Planning Commission's meeting Wednesday night to testify against the move, and the session lasted for five hours.
Ultimately, the board delayed the decision until Feb. 13.

Fairfax County wants to increase the density limit of the PRC, but opponents argue that this will lead to runaway development and population growth in an area where the infrastructure can't support it.
