Reston's Congressman Goes Viral In Photo With AOC (ICYMI)

RESTON, VA -- Reston's congressman is a viral star, at least for a little while.

It all started when photojournalist Tom Brenner posted a collage of photos on Twitter of Rep. Gerry Connolly (D-Va.) talking with rising Democratic star Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.).

The photo was "liked" more than 11,000 times as of Wednesday afternoon.

Then, Ocasio-Cortez herself weighed in, joking that the last panel in the collage looks like she and Connolly "are in a road trip buddy comedy or something." That post had been liked more than 38,000 times as of Wednesday afternoon.

Connolly represents the 11th district of Virginia, which includes Reston and Herndon.
