Sex Solicitation Of 14-Year-Old Lands Purcellville Man In Jail: Police
Fairfax County Police say a Purcellville man solicited sex and engaged in sexually explicit communication with the minor.

Fairfax County, VA – Detectives from our Child Exploitation Unit have arrested a man on multiple charges related to crimes against children after an investigation.

On December 19, detectives received information that a 14-year-old had been solicited for sex by a suspect. Detectives began investigating and determined that Trcore Lee Grant, 32, of Purceville, solicited sex and engaged in sexually explicit communication with the minor.
On December 26, with the assistance of Virginia State Police and Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office, Grant was arrested at his residence. He was charged with three counts of Solicitation of a Minor, Indecent Liberties with a Child, and Contributing to Delinquency of a Minor. He is currently being held at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center and is awaiting extradition to Fairfax County.

Victim specialists from our Major Crimes Bureau’s Victim Services Division have been assigned to ensure the victim is receiving appropriate resources and assistance.
Parents are urged to closely monitor their children’s online activities and use available security settings to prevent the use of inappropriate sites or platforms. Children should be encouraged to report any person engaging in inappropriate conversations or trying to coerce them into providing sexually explicit images of themselves. Additional internet safety information provided by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children can be found HERE. There are many applications predators use to solicit victims. Parents are encouraged to know what applications their children are using and have open dialog of the dangers they may pose.
