Thanksgiving Pies Available For Pre-Order At Reston Bakeries

RESTON, VA — Home cooks planning to prepare a Thanksgiving feast can easily check off the holiday meal’s dessert course by ordering pies from one of two Reston-area bakeries.

First, the Crumbl at 11686 Plaza America Drive in Reston is accepting pre-orders of Thanksgiving favorites like Pumpkin Cream Pie and French Silk Pie, as well as playful twists like Cookies & Cream Pie and Brookie Pie.

All of Crumbl's pies are available in two sizes. The large 5-inch pie is perfect for sharing with family and friends, and the mini 2-inch pie is a personal-sized treat. Each pie is baked or chilled to perfection, with real ingredients and Crumbl’s signature touch.

“There’s something special about pie that brings people together,” says Jason McGowan, Co-Founder and CEO of Crumbl. “It’s nostalgic, it’s comforting, and it always disappears first. We’re excited to share a taste of that tradition, the Crumbl way.”

As an alternative, Crème de la Crop offers allergy-friendly ice cream and sweets free of dairy, gluten, and soy. Their Thankgiving pies include:

• Pumpkin Meringue: brown sugar cookie crust filled with spiced pumpkin ice cream topped with toasted meringue, brown sugar cookie crumb and sugared cranberries
• Chocolate Butter Pecan: chocolate cookie crust filled with butter pecan ice cream swirled with fudge and finished with chocolate cookie crumb and toasted pecans
• Caramel Apple: brown sugar cookie crust filled with apple ice cream and apple caramel finished with toasty oat streusel and sugared cranberries

Pies can be pre-ordered online for pickup on Wednesday, Nov 26, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., inside Wined & Dined at 273 Sunset Park Drive in Herndon. The shop is open Friday, 12 to 6 p.m., as well as Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
