Thieves Get Lost After Stealing Car In Reston: Police
A pair of thieves had to abandon a car after failing to find their way out of a Reston neighborhood, police say.

RESTON, VA — A man was able to recover his vehicle almost immediately after it was stolen, thanks to the inability of the thieves to navigate a Reston neighborhood, police say.
The man was at a home in the 2000 block of Headlands Circle shortly before midnight on July 24 when he heard the engine of his Audi S8 turn on and saw someone drive the car away, according to a report from the Fairfax County Police Department.
"The driver of the stolen car was unable to navigate a round-about, stopped at a dead end in the neighborhood and two suspects ran from the car," the report states.
