Tornado Watch Issued for Reston, Surrounding Area
Area could also see heavy rainfall, flooding, National Weather Service warns.

The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for much of the greater Washington area, including Fairfax, Arlington, Prince William and Loudoun counties in Northern Virginia.
A tornado watch means conditions exist that could produce a tornado. A tornado warning means a twister has been spotted.

The watch is in affect until 5 p.m. Monday.
The Capital Weather Gang reports a NWS forecast that includes a 30 percent chance of two or more tornadoes hitting the entire region under a Tornado Watch (it goes all the way up to New York and Pennsylvania) and a 20 percent chance of a large tornado.
