Danny, Star Student In Vienna, Won International Competition

VIENNA, VA — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we've launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

Danny is a very creative kid and is a giving person - he is a big help with his little brother and around our community. He is being labeled peace maker by his friends because of the positive spirit and kindness he always brings to the table. Danny is fully fluent in both English and Russian and won an international literature competition in the Russian language in the last year. He also likes playing basketball, UNO, chess and swimming.
