Lost Dog 'Gilly' Last Seen in Vienna Area
This Bearded Collie went missing Tuesday outside an area Starbucks when she slipped out of her collar.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- "Gilly," a 2.5-year old Bearded Collie, is lost after getting loose Tuesday morning at a Starbucks in Merrifield.

The dog's owner Laura Colombo said Tuesday night that Gilly was sighted later Tuesday near Cedar Lane and Hilltop Road (see map below) in the Vienna area.
"Normally she would come but she's very frightened now," Colombo said in an email Tuesday night to Patch. "People should not run after her. They could try calling her but best would be to try to follow her and call us." She's afraid of traffic, storms and loud noises.

Gilly is microchipped; she likes beef liver or salmon of some kind but "she's likely to nervous to take it from someone," Colombo said.
