Police Investigate Man Who Asked Teen for Sex
Police say incident occurred as man gave teen girls a ride to a restaurant

Vienna Police are investigating a man they say solicited sex from one of two teen girls he was driving to a local restaurant.
Vienna police said a 14- and 16-year-old girl were picked up between noon and 5:40 p.m. June 12 by a 21-year-old man, who said he would drive them to a local restaurant.
The man is known to both of the girls, Vienna Police spokesman Gary Lose said. One of their mothers knew he was giving them a ride to the restaurant.

While the group was driving, the man asked the 16-year-old girl to get out of the car. He asked the 14-year-old to have sex with him, police said. The girl declined his request.
After she declined, the girls found a taxi and told the driver they didn't have much money. The driver brought the girls back to Vienna.

Police learned of the situation when the taxi driver called police to report the girls could not pay him.
There were no signs of any assault or sexual contact, police said.
Police contacted the girl’s parents and the school resource officer at the school they attend.
The case is still being investigated.
