POSTPONED: Super Slip 'n Slide Block Party Rescheduled in Tysons

"Slide the City," a super slip 'n slide block party scheduled for Saturday in Tysons, has been rescheduled, according to the company, which posted the new date, August 6, on the organization's Web site.

The thousand­‐foot slide travels the country all summer giving residents a break from the heat.

Tickets for $25 to $35 are "sold out," and "last call" tickets are now $40, even though the event is now 24 days away instead of four days away.

"Slide the City" is owned by Sack Lunch Productions.
