Town of Vienna Announces Sewer Main Maintenance

From the Town of Vienna:

As part of regular maintenance, the Town of Vienna will clean sewer mains along Maple Avenue, from Beulah Road to Nutley Street, from 6 am-2:30 pm Sunday. . The roadway will remain open and traffic will be able to move through the work zone. No disruption in water or sewer service is anticipated. This maintenance is necessary to ensure that grease and other solids don't build up and cause sewer overflows or backups.
Work is expected to begin August 1 on a mini roundabout at Park and Locust streets. The intersection will be closed for about a four-week period; the entire project will take about 8 weeks. Detours (utilizing Center Street and Moore Avenue) will be posted and are available to view at www.viennava.gov. Businesses and residential driveways in the area should remain accessible.
