Vienna Little League Team Gets a Shout-Out at Nats Game

Coach held up banner during game Thursday night at Nats Park.

VIENNA, VA -- A Vienna Little League team got a shout-out from their coach and a VLL board member when he held up a large banner at the Washington Nationals baseball game Thursday night at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C.

Coach Jason Adams held up a banner he had made that read: "VLL 'A' Phillies" during the baseball game as a surprise for his team. He coaches a group of 8-year olds, members of the VLL's Single A Phillies team.

"I told my players to make sure they watched the first inning of last night's Nationals game for a surprise," Adams said.
