The "Last Class of the Year" and "First Class of the Year" remain important milestones in the lives of Okinawan Karateka, even for those who have been away from the Karate Dojo (school) for a long period of time. In Okinawa, former dojo members arrive to participate in these classes even if they haven't trained for over 10 years or more!

Wednesday Noon Class (Dec. 31) is the Last Class of the Year 2025
As we have fun working out (maybe laughing at jokes?), we contemplate and appreciate what we accomplished in our karate/life journey during 2025. We also identify any of our unrealized 2025 goals.
Thursday 7 pm Class (Jan 1) is the First Class of the Year 2026
As we have fun working out, we also set our Karate/life goals for 2026. Current Dojo Members will write their Karate goals on the back of their Leader Board name tag to ensure they don't forget them. Plus science demonstrates that if you write down your goal your subconscious mind will work on it even when you are focused on other things.
